🎉 *throws confetti* Happy New Year guys!! We can finally say good riddance to 2020 lol. 🍻

Hopefully everyone had a great Christmas btw :). It’s been quite some time since you’ve heard from your General and I know my last status post a couple months back wasn’t the most positive one. It wasn’t my intention to leave things on a sad note so with that, I really do apologize. 😔

This year has been one heck of a rollercoaster for me and I’m fairly certain a lot of you hold the same sentiments lol. I won’t go into details but I will say that most of my stress and lack of motivation was due to things going on irl, the absolute hell that is(now was) my retail job, and the amount of projects I took on all at once (which that one was my fault ).

We all live in uncertain times and it’s so hard for me to look into the future anymore and say “Yes, that’s where I want to be” or “That’s what I plan to do”. Life likes to throw its curve balls at us and it can be a little disheartening, to say the least. It’s only natural to have aspirations, make plans, or try to achieve goals in our life but when failure piles up or constant roadblocks form, it can be difficult to keep a smile up and stay positive...

This year hit my confidence pretty hard, but no matter how uncertain or lost I feel, I need to remember that God has a plan and will help guide me through the fog of life and towards the right direction. He is the light that shines my path, the one who holds the future in His perfect hands. Whatever may happen now or later, I need to trust in Him and not give up. 🙂

While I may still feel a bit unsure of my future or what I can even accomplish with my life, I’m happy to say I’m in a better mindset than before and feel more invigorated to work on the projects I currently have. I’ll continue to make goals in hopes of reaching them but will also try to be more open minded if plans wind up changing. I think that’s a good New Years resolution fo me to make. xP

Speaking of projects, I wanna let everyone know I’m still drawing ! Yes lol, even though nothing has been posted in a long while, I want to save any new artwork(s) I complete for when @ArtSpacious goes live on their new art website. That way, it’ll feel more special when I transition over there and it’ll be a great way to kick off my new “base of operations” with something, so look forward to that! I don’t know when the website will be officially open, I have a small hope it’ll be sometime next year, but I’ll keep everyone posted till then. (I’m also currently working on a cosplay completely made from scratch but it’s nowhere near complete lol. Maybe I’ll post pics as it comes along, who knows?)

So to wrap things up in a nice little package, this year was hard...harder than most. However, if there’s anything I have taken from this crazy rollercoaster of a year is that plans may break, problems may arise, but I’m going to take a deep breath, trust God, and keep moving forward one day at a time.
